The function of the Utility Billing Department is to provide the citizens of DeSoto with prompt and courteous customer service while maintaining an accurate and efficient water billing system. The department provides water and sewer customer service to the citizens of DeSoto, and prepares bills monthly. The Customer Service Department is located in City Hall at the DeSoto Town Center.
Customer check payments are handled as an ACH electronic debit. When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. When we use information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
