Community Emergency Response Team also known as CERT
This program will assist our cities in ensuring that we are doing everything possible to be prepared for any type of disaster that may occur in the future. The CERT training for community volunteers is important! Experience has shown that basic training in disaster survival and rescue skills improves the ability of citizens to survive. Citizens who complete the training will be prepared as volunteers to perform critical functions necessary during the early stages following a catastrophic disaster.
