The DeSoto Arts Commission is comprised of seven members appointed by the City Council to serve a three-year term with a term limit of six years. 

The DeSoto Arts Commission is responsible for managing the Cultural Arts Grant Program offered by the City of DeSoto and for planning and executing other arts opportunities in DeSoto with the mission of making DeSoto the "Epicenter" for entertainment in the Best Southwest. 

The DeSoto Arts Commission meets on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. in the DeSoto Civic Center.
