Who is TAB?



The Teen Advisory Board is a group of middle and high school students (ages 13- 18) who meet once a month to plan and promote exciting teen programs at the DeSoto Public Library. They are committed to encouraging teen recreational reading, promoting teen literacy, and participating in community service projects.

What

Do We Do?



  • Help plan, carry out, and attend teen programs
  • Publicize the library's teen activities
  • Suggest books, movies, and magazines for the Young Adult collection
  • Review and discuss books
  • Perform community service projects
  • Enjoy free food

Love Your Library Month

Love your library month is all about giving back and appreciating all of the services and resources our library provides everyday. We celebrated and made sure our library was in tip-top shape by straightening books on library shelves and putting them back in order. It felt great to help out our library staff.
