Crestwood Village consists of approximately 140 households and is located off of Belt Line Road near I-35. The community is very recognizable by their unique street sign toppers. Children in this area attend Woodridge Elementary, Meadows Intermediate, DeSoto East Jr. High, the Freshman High School Campus and DeSoto High School. Crestwood Village Neighborhood Association began in 2002. Crestwood is an active neighborhood that meets quarterly, usually in the DeSoto Civic Center located at 211 E. Pleasant Run Road. Crestwood Village was the proud recipient of the DeSoto Neighborhood Grant Program in 2003. They designed and displayed their street topper signs as a result of that program.
