SRRG Mission
The mission of the Southern Regional Response Group (SRRG) is to provide the department with a dedicated, highly organized, and specially trained unit that can respond to and resolve crisis situations.

Dual Teams
The SRRG is divided into two components: The Special Response Team (SRT) and The Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT). The SRT and CNT work in tandem towards the safe and successful resolution of critical incidents. 
 
SRT (SWAT) 
SRT (SWAT) is composed of meticulously selected candidates who are trained in special operations including advanced marksmanship, team tactics, and breaching techniques.

CNT
CNT provides negotiations support to the SRRG mission. CNT personnel are also carefully selected and provided with advanced training in police negotiations.
