City Council passed a resolution outlining the requirements and criteria for naming or renaming a city building, park, playground, street, or other city facility.
Applications to name or rename a City facility will only be accepted in the months of January and July of each calendar year.
Applications and supporting documentation may be submitted in three (3) ways:
1. Via email at NamingRequest@desototexas.gov
2. Via US mail to:
City of DeSoto
City Manager’s Office
211 E. Pleasant Run Rd
DeSoto, Texas 75115
3. Via in-person delivery at the Action Center inside the Jim Baugh Government Center at 211 E. Pleasant Run Rd.
Please be sure to attach any supporting documentation including the petition and sworn statement if required for your specific naming request.
