Welcome to the Oakmont Neighborhood where families, professionals, and retirees enjoy a beautiful property consisting of 212 lots. Our community is nestled between Longleaf, Beechwood, and Polk Street within 3 miles of direct access to I-35E.
Oakmont homeowners are active in Desoto City Council meetings and provide input on city expansion projects. Our neighbors enjoy fellowship with card games of spades, trips to ball games, and garnish great friendship with lots of laughter. The Wonderful Women of Oakmont hosted a fantastic Neighborly Meet & Greet event that sponsored a fun and safe Halloween where candy, hot dogs, chips, and sodas were provided to the children. We reward our homeowners for clean and beautiful landscaping as well as holiday decorations with prizes. Although all of our homes have rear garages, we take opportunities to come together to support being a community who takes time to get to know more than just the neighbor on each side, but those up the street or around the corner.
Annual HOA dues support the community for:
- Security Lighting
- Beautification Projects
- Oakmont Utility Bills (Electric/Water)
- Entry-way Repair and Upgrade
- Maintenance on Polk Street Irrigation System
- Unexpected Repairs and Security needs
- Neighborhood Socials
Our community is easily accessible to shopping, dining, and entertaining. Drive through and see why Oakmont helps to make the City of Desoto one of the best places in the city. We look forward to welcoming you to our community!!!
